R2-D2 does substantial justice to his particular model, given the fact that heâ?TMs been a constant throughout the entire Star Wars storyline. Whereas the perpetually-frazzled C-3P0 often served the primary function of comic relief, R2 demonstrated his resourcefulness several times over.
